Before I purchased my Nintendo Wii I read all of the horror stories about people throwing their Wii-motes through thier TV’s and such and I knew that I really didn’t want to be replacing my TV. After a few games with the family I decided that the wrist straps were not only flimsy, but also they took to long to take off and put on and I came up with this cheap and effective solution.

As you can see I simply used a small key-ring that attaches to the wii-mote with a larger key-ring attached to a stretchable wrist strap. The strechable wrist straps are available at walmart or you can probably obtain one from any automotive store. The cost of the key-ring with wrist strap was under $2 and makes life a lot easier when playing games where you are constantly handing off your wii-mote to the next player, it is also stronger than the original wrist strap that came with the initial shippments.
